About 52 dates

52 dates was born in 2021 as a way to stay connected in the face of an ongoing pandemic, child duties, pregnancy, illness, exhaustion and petty arguments. The rules were simple: every Tuesday night, without exception, we watched a new movie. We took turns choosing, with no influence or veto rights from the other party. The result was 5846 minutes of much needed, almost uninterrupted grown-up time.

This year, we're reviving it, with slightly updated rules:

1. Fifty-two movies in a year.
2. No set dates or times.
3. Take turns choosing, no objections.
4. Whomever didn't choose, reviews.
5. Movies must be watched to the end.
6. Multiple sittings allowed.
